Dear Mr. President of the European Commission,
Dear Commissioners on Justice and Rue of law,
This is an appeal to you to act in defence of justice and rule of law. I expect you to rectify the maladministration and insolent flouting of EU rules, committed by EPSO. Please read the text of the emails I wrote to Commissioner Georgieva, responsible for Human resources and EPSO in particular.
Acting in good faith entails doing so within reasonable time. Thus, if you do not take the first step within a month, you will be considered accomplices to the outrage, committed by EPSO, and the consequences for you will be dire.
Here’s what a Hindu sage writes:
Kings who transgress the limits of righteousness, and administrative employees who discard the law of justice fall into the river Vaitarani after their death. The Jivas are bitten by aquatic monsters but are not separated from their body and are on the other hand supported by their vital breaths to be ever alive to the consequences of their Karma. This river is flooded with refuse, urine, puss, blood, hair, nails, bones, marrow, flesh and fat.
Hells are not an imaginary fiction…..
First I wrote to her:

Then I wrote to her and EPSO director:

Dear Mr. Bearfield,
Thank you for the comprehensive exposition about job opportunities at the EU and DG of Translation in particular.
The DG of Translation’s website says that those who respond to calls for tender or expression of interest have to meet the selection criteria, but the criteria are not listed.
Such calls often come to my attention through the translation portalproz.com, where translation agencies, bidding on them, recruit freelancers. They always have the requirement of several years full-time translation experience, which is something I unfortunately cannot boast with, not least because of the arbitrary, unlawful, if not criminal, way EPSO terminated my participation in competition EPSO/AD/35/05, which at the time I regarded as a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity for professional development and decided to do my best to succeed in it and considering that one’s success in a competition depends also on the performance of the other competitors, I requested EPSO to provide me with my ranking after the first successful stage and also the correct answers to the first stage tests, as promised in the Guide for Applicants.
Having the image of an EU of impeccable administration and lawfulness, promoted to Bulgarian citizens by pro European politicians, I disbelieved and thought it was a joke, when EPSO refused to fulfill its promise in the Guide for applicants.
After several admonitions and respective refusals, I filed my first complaint to the EU ombudsman. The one you say cannot be reopened. Neither is there any request by me to reopen it, because the EU ombudsman ascertains several instances of maladministration on the part of EPSO. What you did not address in your reply is the more important issue of how is it possible to mark a translation as insufficient without any remarks on its quality in the left margin of the sheets, which, EPSO explained to participants, are for the examiners to write into. And how is it possible to announce my admission to the competition on the basis of credentials, which is also a precondition for examination of the merits of my translations, on 13th of September, while the date the examiner wrote on the translation being 12th of September?
How come? Was this a joke?!?!

Well, I thought it was, because if someone wishes to play dirty, one will allege some mistakes, shortcomings, etc. This time the joke was very rough.
I contacted the Civil Service Tribunal, the rules of which required me to be represented by a lawyer, practicing in a EU member-state, but Bulgaria was not yet a member state in autumn 2006, and I applied for legal aid, which was later denied to me, and, and… I will see what else I can remember, while waiting for your response.
Was this a joke?!?! From today’s standpoint it is no joke, it is an outrageous show of power, of who is the absolute ruler in personnel selection. As the Bulgarian expression goes, they showed me who “beheads and hangs”, i.e. that they could do anything.

Dear Commissioner Georgieva,
On January 7th I wrote to you urging you to take action in defense of justice, rule of law and democracy. Since then I have not seen any steps on your part to that effect. If you had taken some, please let me know. If you have not, this is the last time I am appealing to you:
It was on 7th of January that the Kouachi brothers slew so many journalists of Charlie Hebdo. Their reason – Charlie Hebdo had offended their religion by publishing caricatures.
Back in 2006-7 I had much more reason to feel like grabbing a AK-47 and riddling those EPSO officials: they acted unfairly, they broke all rules they themselves had proclaimed in the Guide for applicants, they ruined my prospects of becoming European middle class citizen and lawfully earning 4000 Euro per month, they ruined my professional development and stultified four years of university study of Applied linguistics, my faith in the EU, as it presents itself – a watchdog of democracy and rule of law – was in tatters.
I did not go on a shooting spree, because my religion is sublime and places non-violence at the top of all virtues, which is also why I preach vegetarianism and preached it all along the course of the competition on a forum the European Commission had set up, which was called “Debate Europe”, designed to discuss the future of Europe. Therefore one of the reasons EPSO acted the way it did might be religious hatred. God knows.
I still have the same reason to be disaffected with the EU and I still preach and practice non-violence. And you’d better appreciate that.
The carnage in Charlie Hebdo shows that you had better appreciate my religion. Because also the Kouachie brothers had not had weapons, but they had the will to acquire them in the first place. And later even the security forces of a developed country like France failed to stop them. By the way, it is a big shame on the French security forces.
Take a look at my appeal of January 7th 2015. Today is February 3rd. You either failed to inform me of the steps you took or took no steps at all. I give you one week to take the first step and adopt the good administrative practice to update me on the progress of the matter.
Failing to do so, you will be considered an accomplice to the outrage EPSO committed and its cover-up. And the consequence for you will be dire.
Do not yield the temptation to disbelieve the might of Krishna and the law of Karma.

Hells are not an imaginary fiction as ordinarily conceived of by the modern rationalistic mind. The empiricist believes only in experience of sense-contact and feels himself unable to rise above the dictates of the intellect. But it does not mean that man has reason to overlook facts beyond his comprehension. We have no right to assert that this globe of earth is the most concrete reality and that others are mere apparitions. The stars do not become mere spots with a twinkling light in the sky merely for the reason that we perceive them to be so. If I have not seen America I have no right to deny the existence of such a country. There are evidences, both intuitional and rational, for us to accept the existence of worlds beyond, which are entirely different both in nature and size. The Yogavasishtha says that our earth is only an atom among many other larger worlds existing beyond our perception and is of one particular variety among many others which differ from it in every way. We have no authority to discard the account given by Vasishtha that there exist worlds which are made of different materials like copper, iron, gold, etc., filled with water, milk, and the like and inhabited by serpents, animals, devils, and so on. It is not necessary that human beings alone should inhabit all worlds and that the same earthly conditions should prevail in all planes of existence. The universe is a gradual revelation of the Infinite Absolute in various degrees of Consciousness, which is inclusive of every sort of life and experience. The Infinite is a great Wonder and we cannot say what things are thriving in its womb! We and our world are but one among the many in it! There are many families in Infinity, and earth, hell, heaven, men, animals, gods, devils, are all Its children with varying temperaments. The Absolute ranges from lowest matter to Pure Bliss or Ananda, and between these exist the countless universe with their contents. They differ both in their individual nature and in the nature of their contents. It is said that beings take birth in one or the other of these worlds in accordance with their actions which bear fruits of a kind that can be reaped only in that particular world. Only fire can give heat and only food can appease hunger. Even so only a particular condition and environment can enable us to reap the fruits of a specific actions. Though punishments need not necessarily be due to the wrath of any personal Divine Being, it can be asserted that it is necessary, by the very law of nature, that the soul should manifest itself with a body suited for its experience determined by its past actions. As such, it is not unreasonable that variety in the nature of worlds should be real. We have to remember that the real is unseen.
Hells, therefore, are as much real worlds as the regions of Indra or this mortal earth of ours. They are regions with difference only in the subtlety of the plane of their manifestation. They differ in the degree of the state of Consciousness revealed through them. The sufferings inflicted on the sinners as enumerated hereunder may be taken to mean either an actual birth in such regions, or an experience of suffering equal to that enumerated herein, in any other state of existence, or a life on earth with such entanglements, where one will undergo such pains either directly or through the agency of others.
